提要：惡性瘧疾現(xiàn)癥病人103例，其中83例（男56例，女27例；年齡25±14yr）用蒿甲醚80mg,im, qd(首劑加倍)5d為一個(gè)療程；兒童用量遞減；其中有腦型惡性瘧1例，并發(fā)黑尿熱者3例；臨床治愈率100％，退熱時(shí)間為37±24h，平均瘧原蟲無性體轉(zhuǎn)陰時(shí)間為47±20h，35d內(nèi)的復(fù)燃率達(dá)13％。另外20例用青蒿琥酯60mg,iv, qd（首劑加倍）4d為一個(gè)療程，療效與蒿甲醚相似。

ABSTRACT. Artemether and artesunate are two new antimalarals.In treating 83 patients of acute falciparum malara(M56，F27；age25±14yr)，including one cerebral mala and three complicated with blackwater fever，at the dosage of 80mg／d im for 5 d(initial loading dose was doubled)，the clinical cure rate attained to 100%.The mean defervescence time was 37±24h，and the mean parasitenia clearance time was 47±20h.However there was a recurrence rate of 13% within 35d. Another 20 patients were treated with artesunate as control, at the dosage of 60 mg/d, iv, for 4 d (initial loading dose was doubled). Artesunate was similar to artemether in clinincal effect.
